Derek was also born at 3 Staithes Avenue, Benton Estate, Newcastle Upon Tyne 12. (I have photos of the place). He again was a nice lad. Unfortunately, he had an industrial accident, falling through a fragile roof onto his head. He now suffers skitsofrenia (not sure how you spell it). He is in and out of residential state care. When out, he has to be supervised by a care worker. I know where he lives and the care worker has my address, but we communicate through my dad.


Derek was a lovely young man who suffered serious head injuries as a result of a fall when he was 22 (ish). Over the years, Derek suffered many social problems and was in and out of hospital. He was in hospital care when he walked out and later took his own life.
